The National-level School Ranking (NLSR) -2020, previously known as Country- Level School Ranking (NLSR)- 20230 or NLSR-2023 has been authored, invented, innovated, initiated by Lead India, a profit making unit of India at present functioning from USA through Give Globally Foundation, USA and launched in collaboration with Lead India Foundation, India, on 29th September 2015 in India and USA. This framework outlines a methodology to rank institutions across the Nation. Presently we are focusing on Secondary and Senior/ Higher Secondary educational establishments in India.


The National Level School Ranking (NLSR) is innovated and initiated Lead India, Supported and partnered for technical and evaluation support by Give Globally Foundation, a nonprofit registered in the Indiana State of United States of America and Lead India Foundation in India on 29th September 2015. This framework outlines a methodology to rank institutions across the Country/ Nation. The methodology draws from the overall recommendations broad understanding arrived at by a Core Committee set up by GGF/ LIF, to identify the broad parameters for ranking various universities and institutions.


The parameters broadly cover “Teaching, Learning and Resources”, “School overall experience by the students”, “Return of Investment made by the parents”, “Future orientation to the students”, “Outreach and Inclusivity”, and “Brand value of the school”.


National Level School Rankings – 2023 or NLSR-2023, based on this framework continuously developing by educational research and development, which were lunched on 4th April 2016 in USA.


For NLSR – 2023, the main ranking parameters remain the same. However, there are a few significant changes in a few sub-parameters. This year also every large or small institution will be considered for a common overall rank as well as a discipline specific rank as applicable.
